The Drug, Vice, and Organized Crime Section is a specialized section of the Criminal Investigation Unit assigned to investigate drug related cases, gambling operations, prostitution/vice offenses, and crimes involving organized criminal activity. Detectives from this section conduct undercover operations and surveillance, perform intelligence activities, and conduct drug and gambling raids.

As depicted to the right, officers in this section are required to assume undercover roles. This may often include growing hair, beards and wearing clothing to complement the undercover role. This officer is no longer acting in an undercover capacity.
